Since it looks like I will getting a bigger trailer for next season, I'm wanting to add a trimmer rack and probably other racks for for a blower, water, and so on.

There are a number of different styles and methods out there and I would like to hear what has worked out for you, what would you do different, features that are must have, and so on.

Man... those Bull Riders look awesome! Looks like they would reduce the torque on your body when using your walkbehind.

.....and did you see this logo on their site?

Too funny!

Anybody ever found a trimmer rack that fits into the bed stake pockets of a 73-87 Chevy C-10 Long bed pickup??

Never seen them, but I would imagine that you could find them somewhere.

...or if you can't, why not post a listing on Craigslist.org for a metal fabricator/welder to build something custom just for your truck?

Yeah, I could do that. I've seen them on trucks made from wood, but thought I would ask if anyone has ever seen them already fabricated somewhere.

And if you can't find them anywhere else, maybe have them made and sell them! Sounds like there could be a market for them!

you could cut the bottom off on a trimmer trap and have someone fabricate something to make it fit in the stake pocket. I have gorilla racks on one trailer and trimmer trap on the other, of course the labels are all gone now so dont know which is which. Anyway i bought a package of locks w/ the same keying. I have a tongue lock year round. I put a lock on the tailer gate w/ chain, a lock for the weed wackers, and a lock on each of the backpack blowers. That way if i want to go to lunch i dont have to worry about my stuff growing legs. Where i live we have a lot of large residential property w 3-5 acre lawns. Alot of the time you dont have sight of your stuff and my stuff never gets taken because of the locks. If i am in a neighborhood and have sight of the truck i leave the locks off. My friends have had stuff taken right out of their truck or off their trailer. The cost for racks seems high at first but you can easily justify it by not having to buy a new blower or a few new weed wackers
