Thanks to the GopherHaul show, I had a great chance to meet up with Rod of http://www.redwoodbridges.com. You have some fantastic products and I noticed you are located in Arkansas. We have quite a few members on here from your state! Could you give us a little tour and tell us a little how you got started in this business? It's really fascinating! Do you have any pictures of your shop where you make your products? I'd love to see!

HI Steve and thanks for your kind words about my garden bridges and woodcrafts. Yes I am out here in beautiful Mena, Arkansas right at the foot of rich mountain.
I started out about 9 years ago in woodworking by building a small footbridge for my wife to go over our small pond. A few people saw it and wanted me to build them one. I started building them in my front yard( In California at that time) people stated stopping by to ask me to build them bridges and before long I had to quit my computer related job to build garden brides full time.
I opened my website back in 1998 and after a few years it started bringing in enough customers where now I get most of my businss from the website( www.Redwoodbridges.com) I continue to add new designed products when I get a chance to design and build them. Some people have referred to me as "The Unknown Craftsman" I guess it was a friendly way to say" Who is the guy who bulds the bridges?"
Thanks again Steve its a great forum you have here and I appreciate the chance to introduce myself here to all your members and viewers.

Hi Rod! Very nice work and a gorgeous product! I wouldn't mind having one of these myself, but also, I agree with Tim... these SHOULD be a fairly easy sell. I'm going to use some of the pictures, if you don't mind, and put them in a book to show to my customers.
