Do you think it's a good idea to require a license for such activities?

Is your business moving earth? Then get certified by Georgia - In Georgia, if your job involves moving soil with a trencher, front-end loader, excavator or shovel, the state now requires you to be certified in erosion and sediment control.

This certificate became mandatory with the passing of Georgia House Bill 285, which requires certification for anyone involved in land-disturbing activities.
