Work tomorrow....not kidding

A fertilization customer calls me up today and asks whether I would dig up her annual beds for her and turn over the beds. I said sure, no problem I will be out there tomorrow morning. The ground is not frozen, temps tomorrow will be in the 40's, and with no snow in sight, I don't mind a little work to get my buttocks off from the computer chair. This is the latest that I have ever done a landscaping/lawn job. Before the previous record was Dec. 5th. It just seems really odd that I will be working outside tomorrow on the first day of winter.

Well, I just got back in from doing the job. Only took me about 45 mins and a quick $52 in my pocket.

Same here.. We are still doing landscape projects, brick work and plantings. I think the lawn and landscape season is starting to get longer and longer. I know a few yards that could be mowed right now.. If the ground in not frozen keep working and make money...The snow and colder temps will come..

I have noticed the past three seasons that winter has taken a back seat. Next year I am doing a different approach and planning ahead big time. I am going to push for more work into the winter season

The weather has been surprisingly nice here also in the Pittsburgh area.
Glad to see some of you scapers picking up a few extra dollars!
