getting started

I just picked up my equipment. I got a toro ztr 50" cut model 5000 , a robin weed eater, racks for trailer, and 6x10 enclosed trailer, all for about 5600 from sle equipment out of tn. not a bad deal. and also getting pro locks. pro locks lock your rider or walk behind into place. and they are d.o.t. /fmcsa compliante. I have 1 account so far. and working on others. Not bad for a trucker driver trying to get off the rode. lol I also wanted to say thanks for all the posts and replies that everyone has done. It has really helped me to make my decisions. oh before anyone asks. all equipment is new with factory warrenty. and i am going to go with the name of Don's Lawn and Snow Plow Services.

Cool deal, Sounds like a good rigg to start with! *I do hope you have some cash to fall back on though man, $5600 in equipment expense is pretty steep with only 1 customer on the books. *Your gonna need to spend some more cash (& pray a bit) to advertise to get the business to pay for it all. *Not the end of the world by any means just an obstacle. *I guess what I'm saying is if you have the backing that's great I jumped in with both feet too. *If that was the last $5600 to your name.... *(I'm not teribbly religious but) PRAY ALOT & start knockin on doors! ... really, put the computer down right now & go say hello to your neighbors, spread out from there.

thanks for the reply musicman!!!!!!! my payments are only $197 a month for 3 years. i wont get out of truck till end of year. my wife gets done eith school in june and starts working then. so its not all bad. my first account will bring in about 250 a month and i have more bidding to do. again thanks to all in advance that replies

i will work on thse pics. you van see all tralier packages at www.sleequipment.com. my camera is messed up right now.they are great people to work with.i am just tired of always being away from family and our pay for driving hasn't come up in years.
