Hi, I have just started lawn care services last week. I handed out flyers on my street and already have had one job and have another one waiting. My problem is I need help with a contract. The customer wants me to edge and plant new grass in a few spots.. Edging is no problem, but I have heard growing new seed is hard, and that if it isn't watered enough it will die.

so basically, I need a contract that says I will edge their entire front and back yard, and plant seed, but it is the customers irresponsibility to water and maintain the newly planted seed. And that I'm not responsible if the grass seed does not grow.

Thats how I'm thinking the contract should be written. I would love to hear some of your opinions tho, I'm new so I would love the help

Thanks, Matt

Hi Matt,

Welcome to our forum.

I think there is at least one contract in the free contract section that deals with this issue. Have you checked through them yet?
