One of the most well known and respected brands, exmark.

I went and checked out hustlers today, the dealer said his friend bought an exmark (his friend is loyal to exmark because they made good machines, thats what my thinking was) he put me on the phone with his friend because he's having the same problems and exmark is fighting him saying it cuts fine. At least they're admiting theres a problem with me.

The sick thing is, hustler has a 60" 28hp efi for 7999, I paid 8600 for a 56" 27hp gas hog.

Oh I'm sure they'll figure something out, it's just when? Thats what I've been saying to them the whole time. They had a great machine last year with the ultracut deck, I should of went that route but no I figured well they improved so I'll go with the new deck. Well you spend that money figuring your getting a more effecient machine and end up wasting alot of money in fuel and time and they expect you to just deal with it. I told the guy I talked to today that I refuse to lose any money on this deal because of their lack of R&D. He got very angry about that and said they tested it for over a year. I simply left it at "Well if you guys did your homework, we wouldn't even know each other right now".

He's calling tomorrow morning to discuss a solution for me. Be it keeping the mower and using the "quick fix's" until they find a real fix, or in the form of exchanging the mower for one of last years mowers. I already told him I want nothing to do with the new deck so option one is out. I told him the only way I'll stay a customer is if I get a very good deal on the 60/28 or I'll walk.

Hustler is proving to be a very good company to me. They had an issue with the new xr7 deck leaving a streak of grass, they had it fixed in I think a week and a half from their first complaint. I've been complaining for 3 weeks (since I bought it) and they haven't made one step, I've been doing R&D on the mower and giving them suggestions! Plus if the hustler dealer is offering such huge rebates to get my business as compaired to the exmark dealer wanting msrp for everything. 3 years ago you used to see red on almost every trailer. This year, I'm seeing more yellow, next year....might be almost all yellow.

Can you still back out of the mower sale if you need to?

Nope. Which is total BS I think. They admitted it has a problem, I walked into my dealers today to pick the mower up and he had 3 sitting on the showroom floor only. He said he pulled all of this years and crated them back up and is forcing exmark to buy them back. So why can't they buy my mower back to and let me get last years?

Exmark-where everyones happy...but the customer.
