A bunch of compusa stors are closing in the US.
everything is 60-80% off in most the stores...
Displays, racks, shopping carts, etc. all for sale as well.

I picked up some great deals:
$280 in photo paper (13x19) $78
$700 printer (color laser) $250
$11 500 sheet reams of paper less than $3.50
$57 100 blank DVD's $10
$330 in ink and toner for $127
Etc.

Lawn care business tips
I drove by one today and they had employees outside waving signs.

Will you miss that store?

It seems like the whole economy is going down in the drains.

I personally feel we have been in a recession now for about 5 years

No...not realy. There must be 20 other stores that have the same stuff. But it was nice to have them as an option.

We went to 2 of them and 1 had nothing left, but some shopping carts and colored paper.
The other 1 had much more, we might have to go by 1or 2 more stores today and see whats left.

I would be willing to bet that a lot of the stuff that was sold will end up on eBay, based on the fact some people were buying 100 of the same thing...lol.

I had read somewhere that BestBuy and their 'Geek Squad' were instrumental in knocking CompUSA out of business.

It still amazes me that we don't have more nationwide computer stores.

I think there will always be a need for a local store to take your computer to when it has problems.

But then again, maybe people simply throw away their computers and buy new ones.

Compusa needs to go under!

They have the worst costumer service reps (in store), Corporate wont reply to your complaints, their advertised specials are limited to 1 per store (lol)

Try to get a advertised camera or whatever, from them - they will be sold out guaranteed and no rain check. Even if your first in line when the doors open.

Crash and burn baby.
