NEW TRIMMER!

I thought i would just post a few pictures of my new STIHL trimmer that i picked up today. It's the second one to my rig and it runs like a charm. its the FS 90 R. the 4 Mix Engine is great!

I do have the kombi.. the exact model as that.. 90R but Kombi

But i have a ?. what is that little black plastic peice by the handle. does it have a point? lol

I just looked into the book and it says it's a barrier bar.. not sure what's the purpose but I was told it's a safety for kickback protection

But I could be wrong

It should explain it in your little book that you got with your trimmer

How have you liked this trimmer vs others you have used?

I've got one of these, and wow is it a nice piece of equipment. I've burned through many trimmers and this trimmer stands alone with echo trimmers as the best. This trimmer is energy efficient, easy to start, the shield works great and the is very little to no vibration. If you are looking for a trimmer stihl will last you.
