Default Finding leads?

Has anyone here heard of or used the program by Reed Construction/ partnered with American Institute of Architects to find landscaping leads? I left some contact info on there website the other day and they called today explaining there service and even linked me to the website where he could show me how to use it. It seems legit and like it might be a great way to find some bigger install jobs. Just wondering if anyone else has tried this or used something simular. Its going to run $133/mo for the basic package. One of the newspapers I currently advertise in cost me $99/ mo. and I recieve very few leads from it. This looks like a great way to find the jobs I want and get my name out there...

Well, I am guessing since no one responded that no one uses it.

With such services, who knows. It's a crap shoot. You can try it, see what kind of response you get and go from there.

Who would use such a service to find you? Residential customers? Commercial ones?

Have you asked around to people you know and see if they ever used the site? If not, then maybe it's not too well known for this?

I found the company from a link or add off of this site so I was just curious if anyone else tried it. I decided to give it a try. You basically can search for the type of projects your interested in. It list everything from projects in the planning stage to others that have been recently awarded, and gives a list of contractors and phone #'s to contact the people that have bid on the awarded projects. The gears are already turning in my head on reaching out to some of these people even contractors that didn't win the bid to see if they could use a sub-contractor like me to install the landscaping or perhaps maintain it, if its going to be in my service area.

Any Ideas as to what kind of info I could send these people to help sell my services as being valuable to what they do?

never heard of them but almost all paid leads are scams.

I do have a friend who does Home Improvement that uses a lead website but you gotta figure his average job is about 5 grand. So if he spends $200 getting a job no big deal.

Can you call them and then maybe follow up with a letter and a couple of business cards along with a magnetic business card? And then every once in a while, send them a postcard to remind them of your services?
