Is that a hockey stick, or a gear shifter sticking out of it?

I have no idea what you bought, but it looks like some sort of Toro, so congrats!

I guess I'll update this while I'm here...

Not impressed with the Honda engine on my newer SR4.
It drips gas like mad on slopes and I've had the throttle stick on it multiple times. I'll start it up and it barely chugs along, not really even fast enough to mow. I thought it just needed to warm up, but that wasn't it. I then jiggled the lever that moves the throttle up/down on the side of the engine and it sprang to life.

I have yet to compare the fuel tank capacities on the Honda vs the Briggs and Stratton, but this one with the Honda engine runs dry much sooner than the older Toro.

Aside from that, I still like the mower.
I'd like to demo a commercial mower one day just to see if it can compare in ease of use.

hokey stick, its the shoot out for the bag. this is a super recycler, cast decking, 3 speed, 6horse power, pretty much is light, strong and cuts like a charm.

HAAA too funny I was at the local yard dealer the other day and they had a Toro Recycler on sale for I believe $399. I was eyeballin' it because I know I need a better mower that can take some punishment. I also priced their Stihl
Kombimotor 110 at $349. Thinking about making the investment.

Were there any other mowers you were considering while you were looking around?

I want to eventually get a 34-36 walk behind but then I'll need a trailer. Gonna see how the business does then decide on that one later.

As far as a push mower the Toro was the only one I considered. They have a good reputation and the price was reasonable. Any suggestions?

Were the models you have been looking at, commercial or consumer grade? Is this important in your decision making?

I believe commercial or at least pro. Right now I have consumer but it is brand new.
