Default New Spray Rig

Brand new for this season. 2012 Isuzu NPR HD. 600 gallon nurse tank, 2 drop tanks, 1 150 gallons and 1 50 gallons. Allows me to get 20-25 accounts done each day. Plus I am set up for any situation at all times. Should reduce callbacks.

That is very nice! What were you using previously to that? How will this new ruck change the way you operate and what pushed you to take the jump to this upgrade?

Was using a Ford F250 with a 200 gallon tank. It worked well but I was limited with what I could spray, 10-12 accounts before refill, which meant a trip back to the shop. Also I could only spray what I mixed in the morning. Eg. Pre M, insecticide etc. Now I can mix whatever is needed at each account. More of a custom system instead of just an app based route.

Very very interesting! Is this one of those purchases you wish you did before or did you feel you needed to scale up to a certain point to make it worthwhile?

Needed more customers to justify the expense. Got 220 accounts now and expect at least 50 more this season so it was warranted.

haaa i jut finish diluting some (NH4)2SO4 in a 5 gallon bucket to make some lawn greens and go spray with my electric back pack hoping to get a little ranger and put a spraying pump by the end of this year or next one maybe.
