First thing I did was invite all of my regular fb pg friends. (Please understand I don't personally know all of my fb friends.) But I invited everyone simply to get exposure and "likes" thinking that if you didn't need the service maybe one of your friends would see the page and so on... I really didn't know how it all worked but to my amazement we had gotten several local likes right of the bat! Then I began to "share" the page on my & my wifes & brothers personal fb page and the likes and views jumped!! Then I decided to promote my equipment, experience, location etc..., anything to have a post each day. I recently ran across an article on a website that lists the 7 biggest mistakes in landscaping, so you'll see I'm posting those as daily tips. They are gaining about 200 views daily. I'm on a budget but realize advertising is key so that was my motivation.

Facebook works if you know how to use it well. I heard that promotion is key. Placing your website on your facebook and your facebook on your website can help increase s.e.o. traffic as far as back linking. I have gained a repeat customer through one of my facebook business pages.

As far as promotions go, what do you feel would be a good way to integrate promotions on facebook? What kinds of promotions do you think would work best? Should they be for new facebook friends or customers, or maybe anyone who might currently be a customer too?
