Not business related but can anyone take a stab at what is wrong with my Vine? I live in Northern California. I planted a vine when it was 6" tall and it grow to 2 stories tall. When I purchased my house I took a small clipping of it with me and this is it today. It was very slow to start, took a couple of years before it really started to grow but now the leaves seem to be dieing off. The plant I took this from never had this problem, this plant never had this problem., It just started this year. Could this be frost damage? I am sorry but I have no clue what type of vine it is.

Lawn care business tips
Its just stress from the seasons....Wait a while it will be green again.
Hit it with some fert when your temps are steady in the 80's.

it looks like a form of leaf spot which is a fungal problem that is only active during the early part of the growing season.
the damaged necrotic tissue in the pictures are the after effects and by the time the tissue gets that necrotic the fungal problem has receded and gone dormant till next year.
each year after it will progress along and look worse.

looking at the picture the best thing you could do is clear out the bed it is in free of any other competing plant material and keep the soil loose and clean.

it will allow air to circulate through the plant more and allow more sun light to penetrate the plant and keep the surface dry.
even in droughts, the morning dew gathers and drops into the lower portions and
develop these fungal problems.

also, until you situate this problem i would not fertilize the plant and if you do anything use a bio-stimulant with more micro-nutrients and aminio acids and no NPK.
nitrogen even in small amounts will kill a stressed out plant.

Possibly a powdery mildew issue?
