Call around two places around here are like $180 and one is $97, If you rent on Friday after 3pm you get it till Monday 8am
100 is a lot of stumps you would put a lot of wear on grinder.

What about renting a tow behind?

Thanks for the offer Patrick.but I am in north ga .
Its very hilly and dont think that I could maneuver a tow behind thru the lots. I might not even get the deal though. I just panicked . a realtor called me and asked me if i could do it. I have a hard time saying no. probably should not have said yes.

How big of a unit will you need? Can you get by with a smaller one the size of a mower?

Mine is a Vermeer SC252. One of the things I was looking for was one that you don't have to man handle. You might want to look into Vermeer line. For a few jobs just rent one. Here is mine

How often were you doing stump grinding before you decided to go ahead and buy one? How often have you found yourself using it since you bought it and do you feel it's worthwhile to buy?
