Does anyone hand out a packet or welcome letter to new customers? If so, can i have a few examples of what is in them? Thanks!

I was thinking of getting a bunch of presentation folders made with some Request forms, a coupon or two, all our services, our motto and our pledge..things of that nature that or even a simple Thankyou card from hallmark would be nice...it also dosnt make it seem like your tring to sell your new customer more things..

I give out a thank you for business card. I would love to see some examples of new customer welcome kits. I think it is time to put one together.

I did my first service this year on Feb 8th. It was a grass parking lot of sorts. The person found me on CL. I did the job got the cash. My business cards were still at the printer so as soon as the cards were delivered I mailed out a Thank You card with a couple of my business cards in it. Since then every quote I do gets a Thank You card with a couple business cards in it. It's a nice touch and I believe it sets me apart form the other guys in the area.

That is fantastic! You gotta keep us posted on what kind of impact this has. Make sure you ask your new callers where they initially heard of you from so you can track all your marketing efforts.
