Default New Exmark ?

Is the lazer E the new S series. Anyone have any info on the 2013s. From what I'm hearing the new E equals last years s series but about $ 1000.00 less than the new S series. Side by side there are supposed to be close. Any information?

Default Still undecided E versus S need opnions

I finally found all the specs on a 52" (S) and (E) Lazer z

Engine (E) Kawasaki FX 691 (S) Fx 691 FX 801 or Kohler EFI
Pumps (E) No Fans (S) Pumps with Fans
Tires (E) 22x9.5-12 Superturf (S) 23x9-12 Turfmaster
PTO (E) 175 ft/lbs (S) 200 ft/lbs
Speed (E) 8 mph (S) 10 mph
Tank (E) 8 gal (S) 12 gal
Seat (E) Standard (S) ISO Kit
Panhard Rod ?

Now I wonder if the differences are worth the additional 1000 or so bucks. What suprised me was the PTO was 200 ft/lbs the last several years on the E
The tires were even bigger last year on the E. I thought this years E was last years S now I'm beginning to wonder ? any thoughts. Thanks

Well how do you feel you would benefit from one over the other?

With anything you get, there is a limit to how much you need. Sure we would all like all the bells and whistles with anything but you have to go back and ask yourself, what is the purpose of this equipment? What do I need it to do? If both models will do what you need it to do and one is cheaper, you can save money and go with the cheaper one.

If only one will do what you need to do, go with that one.

But always go back to 'will it serve the purpose I need it for.'

Exactly my point on this Steve why spend the extra $1000.00 for a few MINOR upgrades

Keep the cash in your pocket and use what works for you...I did...

What other things could you spend that $1000 on that you feel you would get more bang for your buck?
