Lawn care business tips

Thank you everyone for the tips. I've been messing around with Wordpress all afternoon because that seems the most dynamic for what i need and don't quite know what the heck I am supposed to be doing. I don't understand how to apply the templates to my domain.

Have you installed WordPress already? 1-click install.

Backup your current website first in case you decide not to use WP.

First install Wordpress. You can do that through Softaculous or Fantastico or what ever Go Daddy provides like that.

Then log in to WP as the admin user. On the dashboard click Appearance, then Themes, then Install Themes (tab). There you can find a theme with the search thing or with the categories (newest, featured). To install a theme click the Install button after selecting the theme. After it installs click Activate to make it the theme for your site. Done!

One tricky part is finding the website of the author of a theme. This can be found on the Themes panel after you install one or usually on the bottom of a preview. You want to know who made it.

For security you should change the name of the admin user to something other than "admin".

Narrow your text columns and add pictures with the extra space, make your header image a better resolution so that it's not streched.

It looks fine to me. Just another honest yard guy.
