Default sidewalk skid steer

I been looking for something to do sidewalks for a few apartment buildings. I looked at blowers, atvs and a crew of mexicans(I would never do that).

I ended up getting this mini skid steer. Shes so small and cute I just want to hold her. This little skid is only 36" wide so will get in back yards and maybe even basements. It only weighs 1800lbs and can lift 700lbs. This is a good complement to my kubota.

I have to pick it up in NY, way the heck out there by lake ontario. My new years resolution is to stop buying equipment. Especially when its so cheap that it begs me too.

Lawn care business tips
Man I would LOVE to have that year round what a great size and easy to tow. I have been looking for a cheap little one. How high does it lift? You may not need a leaf loader any more

That is great it is so narrow. I bet this opens the doors to more landscape projects in the future too.

looks like you may need some tire chains for that, it looked like it was slipping a little...

It will lift over the cab, i dont know maybe 7ft?

That driveway was covered in a sheet of ice. I had my buddy bring me up there with a 2wd duramax and he was stuck in the driveway. This little guy pushed him and the trailer up the hill to the street but chains will only help.

It wont really open up to many doors. I already have a compact tractor with more lifting capacity. It is good for backyards, sidewalks, tight spaces or I can schedule 2 mulching jobs at once in the spring. Since Ill have 2 loaders. Wills idea about using it in fall clean ups is good too.

Nice to have if you have a lot of snow cleaning to do.
A few ppl have them around here. But they need to learn not to tear up the lawn. If I was their client I would be very unhappy with torn up sod on the edges of walks and drive ways.

I found the bucket was pretty useless for sidewalks on mine ,so I welded an old truck blade mount into the bucket ,then cut down the blade to 6 foot .

Do you have any pics of that? I'd love to see it.

Here is what my friend did with an old fisher. He added steps & quick connects
but for a small little one like this a craftsman 42" plow would work

I was going to get a 5ft atv plow and add sides to make it a pusher box.

Tearing up the yard isnt a issue in the winter. The only place this thing will go is two apartment complexes. The walks are wider then the skid and you dont have to drive over grass to enter and exit.
