Default Rock On!

Alright so I finally got everything I need to start making my action packed sci-fi movie. Got the better software, etc...

In this short clip, I had a lot of fun...

1. I had to mask out the edges of my green screen.
2. Remove the green screen, so that the cool background shows.
3. Add a blur to the background, creating "depth".
4. Color correct myself and the background so that they match. (still getting the hang of this)
5. Add a pan movement, to keep the scene from being boring.
6. Add in sound effects of me using a sci-fi keyboard.
7. Add music, but edit it so that way it echos slightly to match the size of the room I'm in.
8. Edit the music so that it sounds as if it's being played from a radio.
9. Add focus to dim the edges of the screen, adding more depth.

10. Realize the background isn't very good, but i'm too lazy to switch it up.

-

When I finally have a script ready (with your help), I can actually work harder at this. I could have fiddled with the adjustments more to make it more real, but I'm ignorant and lazy.

Hopefully we can get some grass monsters, and cool gun props that shoot out grass killing chems.

This isn't really what I'm aiming for, but I thought I'd show you the capabilities of this software lol...

The zombie has some pixel errors because I enlarged him wayyyy too much, but once again, just a test for now!

(removed keyboard sfx)

I had to use Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 for cropping my green screen out, and adding sound... Not too familiar with the newer program yet.

Everything else was done with HitFilm 2 Express, $150..

I got HitFilm because it does a MUCH better job when it comes to working with a green screen.

**- I don't even have proper lighting yet, but the results blow me away!

I wish we could all come up with a story, and have you all in this!

I think if you picked up some green poster board at the dollar store, you could make a clip and send it over to me.

One light should be lighting the screen.
One light should be lighting the back of your body.
One light should be lighting your face.

Also, be as far away as possible from the green. Shadows are a no-no!!!

I do everything with only 3 crappy lights.

Can you make yourself spin around and then blast the zombie and have this flash of light created from the gun?
