One word of advise, Don't spend a lot of money on your website, I get more referrals from word of mouth, Face Book, and my BNI chapter than I get from my web site. It's nice to have to let potential clients check out your company information and photos of jobs you have done. But I find it does not bring us a lot of business.

My website has got me more business than anything else. I get a few here and there from word of mouth but most of my new customers come from the web site.

I'll try to remember to figure up the amount of work I've gained from my site over the weekend.

I get so much business from my website. I send articles out every week to about 30 article submission sites. I generate new content every day. I do alot of content creation. I do outsource this but i do alot myself. i rank number 2 out of nearly 1 million results form my city, lawn care or city, lawn service. check it out google st. charles lawn care and see where Greenside is!

What works in one area will not work in another. I have had customers that after achieving #1 ranking the calls did not increase. That means that traditional advertising works better than web advertising in that area.

I would recommend that you do spend the money on the web site as that is a one time expense that will benefit you for years to come.
