I'm not aware of any other categories I could post in, I'm pretty much giving up on it. I'll still run an ad every couple of days and as LawnBoy0311 recommended I'll try different things to get attention but I need to find other methods.

I've put a listing on Yelp but that I've read that may have it's own problems. What I have the most hope for is putting up my own website. I can't afford it right now but I should be able to at the beginning of the year. I'll also be running ads in the PennySaver which is a mailer that goes out every week.

As I said, I have a lot of hope for my own website. What I'm planning on is making an site that will information on gardening with an emphasis on my area so that people looking for solutions or ideas can use it as a resource. Of course the best solution to any problem they may have is to call me and let me do it. I believe that if people see that I know what I'm doing and that I do it right and my prices are reasonable I'll get business.

Your confidence is a good thing. The more you can get your name out there, the better. I wish I had penny saver, I have something similar. Its a pack of coupons with about 100 other companies. They quoted me $1,600 to mail out 5K coupons, 1 time. NOOOOOOOOO thank you. Your website should get you some leads, which is good. Signage on your truck and trailer work well too, and its free.

I've never done yelp or any of that other stuff. It just gives A-holes an excuse to slam us. Look at Guy Fieti and the NY restaurant he opened. Google it for those of you who don't know. I don't want some punk trash talking me because I wouldn't "hook him up" with a free cut, or leaf removal or any other crap he wants done for free.

You can also try thumbtack.com its free and they email you leads. I get a few every now and again.

I agree with you on this however I wonder the importance of having a listing on such sites for seo purposes. Might it help get your website to list higher in search engine results or even create a search engine result listing of it's own for your site?
