Sorry I haven't been on here in a while, super busy with the business. But my question is in regards to a video editor. Does anybody know of or recommend a software or online site of where I can edit my videos? We are going to start video newsletters. It doesn't have to be fancy and I am open to anything, especially if it's free, lol Thanks

To be completely honest, the best thing out there that is free, is Windows Movie Maker. Do not waste your time trying to find anything else for free, unless you want watermarks on your produced video. I made an example of the use of color correction.

If you can find a program that offers this, use it.



You'll find various uses of this in many movies: apocolypse, future-sci, documentary, etc... many many uses.


The second picture (right from the original) would use the apolocypse-style color correction, like so:


It's a low saturation, with a yellowish color correction. It's my favvvv!

I have used Sony Vegas but it's not free.

Scott that is a pretty cool effect. It made me think of the movie deliverance. A lot of the scenes seemed to be filmed during the day but then they used some effect to make the shot look like it was at night.

Here is one of the scenes but it's in black and white for whatever reason and you can't get the nighttime effect.
