Rant for the day....

I thought about telling her that for $60/ every two weeks I would keep it maintained but since she was posting on Craigslist.....she is too cheap for a real company anyways... It never hurts to try! Any thoughts on this job as you look back at it? Were there any learning lessons? the longer i work though, the fewer jobs i find myself in like this Why do you feel this is the case?

Lawn care business tips

Looking back now, I should have never even taken the job or told her that it would be well over her $60 she wanted to spend. If I priced it like I would have wanted, I would have charged about $150-200. I would have gone in with the walk behind first to knock the 3ft weeds down and then ran over it with the Walker to pick it all up. The hedges were trimmed also so in the end she got a AWESOME DEAL.

Sometimes you just gotta let those cheepos go.

I usually tell people who want to pay low prices to go find a neighbor hood kid to do it.

I used to do jobs when I was 9 for $5. That seemed like a lot of money to me.

Now that I'm older I understand that charging is a must. Don't be afraid to charge people what you are worth.

Even if she is from Craigslist. Not everybody from craigslist is cheep, they are just being frugal. The reason why they are so rich is because they are so frugal. If ya know what I mean.

If you tell them the price you want and they don't accept it, they will just keep looking until they find a mark to do their work for that low rate.

Charge more on your jobs, that will impress your College buddies.

is this the tread that of a guy that was mowing his 5 ft backyard on youtube, trying to make a point and goes and ask a lowballer how much he will charge to do it and i he said 50 bucks.
