trailer vs truck

Going to be upgrading to either a bigger trailer or ramp truck next year? Anyone have any pros and cons for me?

What kinds of area do you service? Are you in a more congested area with little street parking or do you never have issues with parking when you are at a customers location? What about where you leave your equipment now? Do you have to do a lot of unloading at the end of the day or do you back your trailer into a garage and close it?

outside of what steve mentioned the ramp truck is too one dimensional for my liking.
it is great for carrying the equipment but that is about it as well as with a pick up/ dump truck and trailer combo you can carry your debris and equipment or material and equipment.

trailers are also cheaper then tying that kind of money into a ramp truck.

but as steve mentioned it all depends on the area's you service and if parking is a issue.

one good plus to the ramp truck is if you have wingnuts working for you that can not drive with a trailer too well then it eliminates that issue for you.

Get a trailer, don't limit yourself.

Keep a mattress in the bed of the truck for shagging women of the night.

Ramps are stupid, by the time you get your equipment in the truck, you've run out of room to put your ramp LMAO. Forget about it, don't even think of ramps.

The advantages and disadvantageous are obvious. Maneuverability, parking, and thats about it for the positive.

The negatives if the truck breaks down so does your trailer, limited space for debris, cost, weight.

i like this boxtruck concept more that a trailer better maneuverability, fuel effective, more visual power to the biz.

u can always do this incase u do clean ups, tree service etc.



u will probably take a little longer to unload lets say 5 mins once u are at the door of the box.
