Anyone know about Shindaiwa products?

Im thinking about getting a shindaiwa backpack blower. A guy is selling one on craigslist. Says it runs great but may need new shoulder straps. I could get it for $60. Im sure its been used quite a bit but it sounds like good deal.

I bought a used 640 almost 4 years ago and it still runs perfect. It didnt lose power over the years like echo and husquarvana. I wouldnt pass on this.

I just bought a chainsaw off a guy the other day. he had it listed for $65. I got it for $50. Its just a homelite(I know cheap sh!t) but its 45cc runs great, has a hard case, new bar, new chain, came with a gas can, 2 cycle oil, and field tool. I dont use a saw that much so this will be fine for now. I have a husqvarna that has a scored piston. I didnt feel like spending too much cash on a piece of equipment I use like twice or three times a year. So its working for me. Funny too, I just did a cleanup job. I had to haul a bunch of brush for a client. New saw came in handy there. Already paid for itself. Craigslist deals are hard to beat.

That husquarvana might be made by poulan. Look up the parts, if it is. Get a cheap poulan pro with a carb issue. You might be able to rebuild yours for $25.

you might also get away with a new aftermarket rebuild kit on ebay ,some are dirt cheap .

I would grab that up....I believe they are very good although never had one...I've seen them bring high prices though other places...
