organic lawn care practice

Im going to use my lawn as a test dummy for learning organic lawn care for tje next couple years. Is there a prefered product line you guys use and why? Im looking for mosquito anf black fly control also. Thanks for any help. I am also in the market for some formal training in this area also. I am waiting on the Master Gardner course application now but would prefer something related directly twards organic lawn care!

Lawn care business tips

There is a bunch of discussions on here about using natureslawn.com products but there is also discussions on making your own compost tea and using that. I guess if you have a little property that you can make your own with and experiment, you would do better with that.

Thanks Steve I will be playing around with some stuff for next year and will be looking at the tea. I have been looking at the organic threads already and yes there is a ton of info.

We are designing our own compost tea brewer. We are going to experiment with different recipes starting in sept. Several customers are willing to be my ginea pigs at a reduced rate for the application. Anxious to see the various outcomes!!! We got our design from the Oregon State University website. It is designed for brewing 25 gallons at a time.

you know i had better result when i let the tea brew for more than 10 days its seems, that the micro organisms work faster, but stinks so bad
right now i have a 5 gallon bucket, brewing i think it has like 25 days ill see what kind of respond i will get from the soil.
