So as I'm trimming, I see a police vehicle park across the street. They sit there for a few minutes so I decide to walk over out of curiosity.

Me: You guys doing alright?
Cop: Yeah, we just got a complaint about you blocking the street.
Me: ... It's not blocked. It's not great, but it's the best I can do.
Cop: We can see that. It's ok, you are just finishing up right?
Me: I'll be done in about 20 minutes.
Cop: 20 minutes, not 30 minutes right? *jokingly*
Me: ... about an hour.
Cop: 5 days.
Scott: Don't give me a ticket yet, I have to finish the job.
Cop: You aren't getting a ticket.
Scott: I knew my good looks would pay off.
Cop: You should join a pageant.

Back to work I went.

Lawn care business tips

I just got back from advertising to the local police station. It was terrifying.

I gave the receptionist a brochure and several cards.

The captain is going to call me later on.

... I didn't have enough pressure on me this season, so I thought I should mow around a few police cruisers to keep me on my toes LOL.

HAHAHAHA Holy crap Scott.

As I was reading this, I thought to myself, I bet it was one of Scott's crazy customers that called this in! Can you imagine it was the one you were servicing at the time..
