It might not look like much, but doing this lawn with the tractor is scary as hell. lmao.

I have to lean so my weight will perhaps help me from slipping.

the 4th and 5th line from the bottom, the tractor can lose traction. The 6th line up is the danger zone. I can't go past the plant on the far side, or else the tractor might slip sideways.... If I aim my tires downward to go around the plant, the tractor will lose traction and want to ride the hill all the way down. - I can't go left, because I'll scalp the peak of the hill. I usually just trim there.

ANYWAY, just thought I'd share!

I find my 60" does much better on a site like this than my 44". And I was told my stand up 36" would be awesome for slopes but that is sure not the case.

The slopes never look as steep when you take a photo.

I have a few that scared me at first, but the walk behind holds them quite well.

On such slopes, if you are doing them with a tractor, would it be safer at all to go up and down instead of side to side?

Not for this one. If I go up and down (street to house, house to street), I would scalp the peak of the hill, and probably crash into my truck LOL. It might not look like much, but the hill is very steep. My movements have to be exact or else I'm in for a ride lol.

You can somewhat see the level of steepness by looking at my clients SUV, the line of the hill.

The best way to do this lawn, is to use the 21", unfortunately we would be there all day. We have 3 lawns in a row, all will crazy backyards too. Trimming here is a nightmare.

Here's the steepest one I do, but I'm not using a ZTR and it holds this hill with no problem whatsoever.
