Started business a couple of years ago. It's been difficult but an old timer here retired and recommended me to his customers. So now I have all the work I can do! Not easy street yet. The grass just isn't growing like it does most years. Things are better though.

My schedule is full. Still not making much money. Mowing is the most profitable thing for me but the grass is getting a late start. Plenty of weeds and cleanups to fill the schedule but not so much money there. I'll raise prices next season.

Instead of more services for this business I'm hoping to start another business. Diversify. My current effort on that is an online magazine about local activities, history, events, sites to see, things to do, etc., written by area residents. I'll make money from advertisements. If I can get more people to write it might work.
