Toro Grandstand Opinions ???

I am needing to buy a rider style mower and I'm now thinking that a Toro Grandstand series maybe what I am looking for.

They are ok. I prefer Wright Standers. Better overall design as Bill Wright was the pioneer of the stand on mowers. He owns all the important patents and it seems like every manufacturer is trying to get into the stand on market because of their popularity.

I'm going to say this with all my strength: Stay away from the 40" turboforce deck. STAY. AWAY.

Get a 36" or a 52" deck. Anything but the 40". The 40" just makes a huge mess.

I like the idea of the 36" it will not only compliment my other main use mowers a 21" Honda Commercial and a 26" ExMark Metro I will also still be able to transport them all in the same trailer as well.

A Toro will most likely require repair within the first year. Just make sure your dealer offers a loaner. Toro offers fantastic cut quality but their mower reliability is going down.

I've been a long time a toro user but I'm looking for another brand for my next mower. I'm thinking Scag.

I'm a big fan of the 36"
I tested the hell out of it along with just about every other mower they had out on the field the day i went to this seminar/sales day.

Ive wanted a grandstand since i have started, i like the head turns that a stand on mower will get as compared to the typical zero turn crews.

They are quick, comfortable, super easy to control, and dont wear out your legs after a long bumpy ride.

Next to that though i really like the style of the quad looking ztr's
can't recall the name and don't know anything about cut quality but they are fun to drive around..
