Default Cross-promoting?

Is anyone doing any cross promoting with local businesses in your area? Such as restaurants or other popular establishments? What are you doing specifically? How is it working for you?

What kind of cross promoting can be done? I have not thought about doing this.

I've thought about selling advertisements to local companies to be included with my monthly billing.

Something like a coupon pack. "Mention B's lawn care and receive 5% discount on your order" or something like that.

I was just thinking about this today well doing door hangers

I am going to talk to some restaurants & businesses to see if I can put my postcards on there counters in return, I will hang there door hangers at the same time i do my door hangers. this will help both of us and i am already walking all over the place

So what do you think? and yes my flyer will be on top.

You could also work out a deal with a local pizzeria or something like that where one side of the door hanger has their information, the other side has your information. They pay for printing and you hand them out.

I like that, the reason I'm thinking of each having flyers is I would like to have more than one business doing this with me. The other thing is would people think that the other business is part of mine? So far my Insurance Agency is on board and I need to go talk to some others

I really don't think that would be an issue.

Keep us posted on how all this goes.

How are you going to split up the space?

Maybe you could use a bi-folded door hanger and get one more business owner, so each got 1 full page to advertise on?
