  • Plant now, sell later

Have you ever considered offering this service in the fall/winter? Planting bulbs for the next spring?

Plant now, sell later - Felice Talamo prepares for winter by dreaming of the colors that will follow the ice and snow. Each fall, the Yonkers gardener plants hundreds of spring-blooming bulbs for his customers in lower Westchester County.

The payoff comes later, after the worst of winter has passed. Weeks before the lawns shake off their seasonal slumber, daffodils and tulips will poke through piles of brown leaves and give new life to soggy gardens.

Nothing adds more instant curb appeal than bunches of spring flowers, real estate agents say.

Quote[/b] ]Although 15 countries worldwide produce tulips, 88 percent of them still come from Holland - 4.32 billion bulbs, according to the International Flower Bulb Centre.

        I agree.

The hardest thing when coming to bulbs is trying to figure out the colors, and when they bloom
