We start plowing after 3 inches of snow fall. At what point do you charge extra for a large snow storm? Is it after 6 inches, 8 inches??? And how much extra do you charge for the larger snow amount?

    Hi Simon,

Is this your first year snow plowing? Do you have your customers on contract or how have you done things in the past?

Also have you listen to this podcast on how to charge for snow plowing?

See here in Michigan most companies start plowing after 2 inches and they charge more after 4 or 6.
So it would go 2 to 4, 4 to 6, so on. Some do 3 to 6, 6 to 9, so on.

Go to the search on the forum here and search for some other answers this site will help.

If there is anything else feel free to ask.
