Give us your credentials of what you already know about the snow plow business. What equipment do you already have? With what other customers and contracts have you worked?

Unless you are already in that business with equipment and a basis of knowledge, it seems reckless to be bidding a big contract toward the end of January.

Starting a lawn care business mid season is one thing but snow plowing is an entirely different animal.

This contract is for next year. Right now I do 27 small contracts. I use a 750 brute force 4x4 with agressive tires and a snow blade. But I want to get blades for my trucks

I live in Ohio and don't know of any dealers in my area, but you could try and ask you local county road department they should be able to help you out, what kind of truck do you have 1/2 or 3/4 ton or 1 ton? you can get a new boss plow for about $3.000.
