  • Is weather helping or hurting your business?

Kurt has just pointed out in another post that things were slow due to lack of rain. Here is another article about lack of rain in Mississippi. How are things around you?

Scattered showers aren't cracking dry spell, yet - "Even Bermuda grass is starting to turn yellow," said Denny Waite, the owner of Denny's Lawn Care in Tupelo. "I'd say we're very close to drought conditions."

He and his employees work from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. to avoid the hottest times of the day.

Waite's business really slows up when there is a lack of rain.

Well, if we don't get a good amount of rain here within the next week, things are going to be brown big time. They were starting to be brown last week, and we received a little rain this weekend that helped out just a tiny bit. But when need more soon

We just some rain last night and had about an hour long soak just a little bit ago! Supposed to rain Wednesday-Sunday, which kind of sucks because of the trip I have planned.

So far, I'm still doing good, haven't cut below 3.5" this year and the grass seems to still be growing like mad even with no rain for the past couple of weeks! I've seen other guys out cutting and their accounts are browning out already, cutting higher deffinitly helps!
