  • Temporary Labor

    Imagine this scenario:

It's been raining for 3 days straight. All your lawn care customers are calling wanting to know when you can cut their grass because it's growing like crazy. You have a spare lawn mower and an extra string trimmer on your trailer and the work you have ahead is basic lawn mowing.

Would you consider driving to your local Home Depot and hire someone on the spot to help you get caught up with your work? Before you do, there are a few things to consider:

    Dirt Cheap Labor

This article opened my eyes to a few recent rule changes. Communities are enacting tougher local codes to deal with the challenge of undocumented labor.
Start a profitable lawn care business.

Has it effected things at all in your area? Do you see less day laborers?

I've never seen this at any home depot in my area. Maybe this is a down south thing.

Well, here in Reno this past weekend. ICE cracked down HARD on fast food restraunts and casinos. I think all but 4 or 5 Mc Donalds had to close completely because there was no one to work anymore. I think that isn't enough personally, but another topic all together.
