  • Life After Enron

I really like this start up business idea. It looks like a desired service. I mean what little girl wouldn't love this and it seems like the start up costs are low.

    What's your view?

Former Employees Live Life After Enron - The fraud trial of Enron founder Kenneth Lay and former CEO Jeff Skilling begins in Houston. Michele Norris talks with Evan Betzer and Lois Black, two former Enron employees, about their experiences since the company folded in 2001.

Betzer and a colleague went on to found Stoneworth Financial, an asset management company specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Black is a former secretary who opened a business, Tea Parties To-Go, throwing fantasy tea parties for young girls.

They did a really nice job putting the site together too.

Do you know of anyone who started a similar company or wanted to?

Something to keep in mind too, when Enron collapsed, many of the employees lost everything. Not just their job but their retirement too. So for her to take lemons and make lemonade is amazing.
