I wanted to use www.majesticlawncare.com but it is not available. .biz is but I dont want to use that. I'm afraid people might not pay complete attention and go to the .com site out of habit and not find mine. So, I was thinking about www.majesticlc.com. What ya think?
You have some great points. Here is my reasoning for suggesting the hypen.
I think if he was trying to launch a purely internet based business then the hypen rule applies(aka google, ebay, amazon) In these cases you would want a short easy to remember URL. Most of the people who visit his site will type in the URL manually based on his advertising (business cards, flyers etc.) Or they wont care what his URL is because they are clicking on a link from one of the local directories or search engines. Hypens only get confusing when people are trying to type the URL in from memory. So if he is going to do a lot of radio or TV advertising I would also ditch the hypen. However I think it is easier to read and provides a visual break. I like the idea of using two hypens...
