          Very interesting!

Do you have any idea on the lifespan of such a mower? Does the store or manufacturer give you a warranty for a specific amount of hours used?

Really! The mower says you can't use it for commercial purposes? That is very interesting!

Did anyone at the store tell you it would last 200 hours?

So then if the mower costs $2200 and it's lifespan is 200 hours then it costs $11 per hour to operate it, without including gas or any other maintenance costs.

That should help you in your bidding!

I bout a residential mower this year and it has a lifespan of 270 hours. If every thing goes the same this year I will probably need a new mower by the end of the year.

What kind of mower was it?

Its a cub cadet LT1045. I was reading the manual and it said that it should last 7 years or 270 hours. In about one months time I have put on about "one years time". I only paid around $1,900 for the thing and I only need it for 3 more years.

What would it have cost you for a comparable commercial grade mower?

I think that it would have been around $5,000 or more. It is not a ztr so thats why mine cost so little.

I am not sure if this is directed to me so I will answer it any way. I would have gone with a John deere if I was going to get a non ztr. If I was going to get a ztr I would have gone with a scag.

Did you check used prices for those machines? If so how many hours did you find they had and at what price range?
