First started to make some extra money, so my wife could stay home with kids. Worked delivering propane then other jobs fulltime for 18 yrs while mowing. I've had mostly ups, not too many downs, worst being missing kids growing up. Bad knees and shoulders, but that might be my age.
I would say that it is your business don't sell yourself or your business short. Provide good value, I'm not saying undercut prices, I'm saying give the client good value. Make yourself an asset to them, be friendly take some time to talk. They will be happy to pay more for the value you provide.
Going fulltime, mostly same as above, don't loose control of your growth! Remember, if you have a family, they need you too!
