From what we see on here, you would probably do much better by sticking with residential customers for a while. Then as you get a handle on your bidding and know what your costs are, you could scale up to find commercial work.
To get work, you need to promote yourself and knock on doors. Talk to your friends and neighbors and try to get them to sign up for your services. The first group of customers tend to be the hardest to get, but it gets a bit easier as you have customers and word of mouth advertising starts kicking in.
