            Richard,

Can our readers get you to create a lawn care business website for them using a similar template? Or do you use other templates ? I could understand if you didn't want to use this one since it's your pride and joy!

The idea is great, but it takes a long time to get a theme ready for publishing. It is easy to put together a html template, however when you are getting into php and you need to alter so much...it get to be a large job.

There are thousands of free themes out there that can be customized to fit any business.

I also think that if I do this it will open the doors for support calls.

"How do I change my logo?"
"How do I alter the sidebars?"
              "How do I install WordPress?"

              and so on...

I would still rather do it from start to finish for anyone interested. However, that being said I have been working on a generic theme for the landscaping industry that I can use to promote my web design services.

Well first off, it teaches you how to better code your html.

Another thing is that as I found with this forum, bad code can have unknown effects on different browsers. So you might be able to look at your website and it seems fine to you, but little do you know, 50% of potential viewers who are trying to see your site, are getting an error message because they are using another kind of browser.
