Each job is different depending on the needs and the size. I base an estimate on cost of the product needed, some want the weed block sheets some don't. The ones that do not I base it on $50 per hour. Again each circumstance is different. I will be distributing both going door to door and by drive by rural papertubes. I have also started an adwords campaign for each of our services. It's important to know that if you set up an adwords campaign, that you make sure to eliminate the states, cities and towns off your demographics list that you do not want to have your ads shown in. It makes no sence to have an ad show in the next county over if you don't service it. Also I have made sure to Add our website and information to Google Maps. Our site is in the top ten on google for our town. Type in lawncare hamburg ny and our site will be on the first spot on google maps and top 10 on search results.
For the most part I utilize both side of a sheet, putting two on each side of the paper, cutting them in half so I can get twice as many flyers. The other side of this flyer is more info about our business and other services.
I will be distributing both going door to door and by drive by rural papertubes. That is a good idea for along the top so that it is the first thing they read. I Did that with another flyer that I also plan to distribute so that I can see which flyer works better. I have a total of three separate fliers to distribute. My additional advertising or marketing consists of running a thirteen week picture ad in our weekly penny saver on the business bulletin board in the paper. I have also set up Google Adwords campaigns for each of our services. It is important to set up each campaign so that it doesn't show in areas you do not service. By doing so I have cut the cost of wasteful clicks.
Each Flyer I have I will make note on my coverage map which fliers I used in which areas. I will split up each town into three areas so that each town gets all three fliers. My plan then is to get all three fliers to everyone by rotating them.
I would put the coupon at the bottom... If they cut it out, they may throw away the bottom section that lists your other services...If the coupon is at the bottom, they can cut it off and keep the rest for future services they may wany that you offer..
