Are You Taking Advantage of EVERY Customer Contact?

Granted, the whole idea of sending invoices and statements is to get paid, but nobody said you couldnít present your customers with a ísoft sellí offer for additional services. Heck, you know theyíre going to open the correspondence. What better opportunity do you have to possibly get additional business?
Again, donít make it a hard sell, but donít be afraid to at least make an offer. If you send a monthly newsletter (something I HIGHLY recommend) with a special, include a message on the invoice to remind them about that monthís offer.
The main idea here is that you should take advantage of EVERY customer contact to present additional offers on services. It could be the difference between a business thatís stuck at a certain level versus a business thatís growing by leaps and bounds.
How often are you sending out special offers in your invoices? I bet this is something we could all improve on. It's the little things here and there that push small businesses to become bigger businesses.
