    What are you selling?

    An interesting article. Jason's thoughts are that you are not necessarily selling lawn mowing but instead you are selling time. You are selling your customer time to do other things.

    What's your take on this?

    Local lawn care companies are seeing growth - Professional lawn care is a growing business, industry experts say. And it's not because it's so hard or expensive to mow your own lawn.

    "It's not rocket science," said Jason Brooks, owner of Jay Crew landscaping and lawn care. "We're a different category than a plumber or electrician. You could do this yourself.

    "We're selling different services, but in essence we're selling you time," Brooks added. "That's such a precious commodity in this day and age."
