  • Check out what this Lawn Care Operator did

Michael owns a lawn care operation and as a side project he started making his own biodiesel fuel. It really seems to have taken off! Pretty neat huh? You never know when you might hit on something so you gotta keep trying things.

Biodiesel advocates prepare new plant - Lewisburg businessman Robert Kalin and his son, Michael, are doing something to lessen the nation's reliance on foreign oil.

They have formed Biodiesel of Pennsylvania Inc., which is spending $1 million to develop a biodiesel production facility just off Route 15 north of Interstate 80 in Union County.

The plant, expected to be operational next month, is an outgrowth of a pilot project that company President Michael Kalin had in Lewisburg. He produced enough fuel there to power vehicles used in his landscaping business and to heat the building.
