  • Dog waste clean up franchise idea

If I were to make a dog waste clean up franchise, I would call it Pooper Scooters. The pooper scooter would have a trailer attached to it that would have a large sign to promote it. It would also have a shovel and a utility box to hold bags, invoices etc.

The rider's helmet would have dog ears on it as well. Maybe even some kind of costume.

The slogan would be "We pick up Fido's poo, so you don't have too."

This would be a great add on service to sell to existing lawn care business clients. It could be started with a minimal investment. It is a service that would be easy to perform as well.

As I look around the internet for pricing, it seems these pet waste disposal companies charge between $10 and $20 a visit. Although I do wonder if you are already at a location performing lawn care, you could probably add on the service as an upsell for cheaper possibly depending on the time it takes.

                Steve,
Where did those first two photos come from?

Did you just come up with the idea & photoshop them?

we still have yet to have anyone around my areas to do this service...I remember talking about this on the forums about 3 years ago.

I thought it was a silly service before but now that I am trying to expand and grow and I realized that crap = money

I think I am going to try this service add on this year.

                      LOL yea.

I was hoping the idea would inspire someone to do it.

Oh very interesting! $14 per weekly visit, but I am thinking that if you are already there mowing, you could maybe lower that or just keep it and see how that goes.

I'm thinking about going with there prices when I start out at first Steve. Just to see how it goes and then after a few months or even after the first year adjust the prices to where they need to be. Whether that be lower or higher.
