I normally charge around $35 for regular service including mowing, trimming, edging, hedge trimming, and so forth. My question is, since I am not involving any type of mechanical work, should I charge around 25 bucks an hour for like manual labor [pulling weeds, mulching] or should I stay at 35 an hour. I am not really using any mechanical involvment when I do this, so I am not worried about paying for maintenance on equipment.

I agree. I usually Charge about $25 per hour for strait Labor. It's my least favorite job (I'd rather be operating equipment than digging a hole or pulling weeds), but it seems hard to bill $40+ an hour for hole digging. Other work is usually $40 per hour. I bump it up a little if a large amount of debris is created that has to be hauled off and dumped.
