Yeah, when i purchased my trailer, i was thinking of the future. Of course she will fit in the trailer, now I just have to figure out how to tie down a zero turn on a trailer. Anybody have any tips ?

It's only a 48 inch, 6 more inches than my tractor.

Tractor hit 400 hrs monday so I figure, it was time

Nice new ZTR Justin. Big upgrade from before. When I switched to a ZTR my production time went through the ROOF.. More time means more jobs = more MONEY. WTG Enjoy.

If you don't mind what was the final price you paid for it?

Yeah I've heard of Prolockers before. I just am trying to get away from paying a border duty. Last time I ordered my trailer racks, I payed almost 100$ for border duty free. It's hard since there's nothing here in Canada. I am always ordering stuff through the U.S

Check with a local shop. Especially one that carries Oregon products. They should carry them.

Oregon is a brand of outdoor power equipment parts, including one of the most popular brand of chain saw bars and chains. Oregon is a supplier of after market parts and some tools and accessories like ProLocker and a brand of sulkies (without checking the catalog I am not sure of the brand of the sulkies).

Here (http://www.oregonchain.com/index.htm) is Oregon's website.

Just seem to be paying an arm and a leg for something i'm leasing for 3 yrs (36 months at $313.07)

Then I got 1st payment.. $313.07 + Last payment $313.07 + Doc fees $226.00 = Total of $852.14 that I have to dish out

I don't even have 100$ in my business account, I've sent bills but the big ones (the schools haven't payed me yet ) :(

Justin, I think I would have to back out of that deal.
$11496.52 over 36 months and still not own it? I dont think so!
and a dock fee? what the hell? And the mower you showed in the pic. has a stamped deck.
I dont even know your dealer, but from what I have heard so far, I dont like him. Do you still have your other rider? or did he swindle that out of you too?

Yeah I'm reading my document and figuring out a price on this thing and it so ridiculous. I was told heavy payments in summer time and low payments in winter. I don't even see anything that says this anywhere.

The dealer just called this "financing company" and they contacted me and stuff. I was approved.. of course..

I don't know what to do anymore.. I need a Zero turn bad.. but I don't want to pay $11496.52 for a machine that I am only leasing for 3 yrs and it's not even mine

That's about a crock. For that kind of money it better drop 2 solid gold coins into your hand everyday. I would check into "buying" one. Leasing is seldom a good deal. You may have to check into other brands to get a good deal. Heck for $11,000 you could get a propane powered Dixie Chopper that is rated to cut almost 10 acres per hour (yes, 10 acres). I only know this because I saw it on the internet just today.

I would try to check around and let them have their mower if they are that proud of it.

Good luck,
Eli

Justin forget that Husqvarna crap for that kind of money.
I don't know what kind of financing incentives the dealers up in Canada are offering but here in the states I have seen 0% for 6 months or 3.9% for 3 years. If money is tight for you I would suggest looking at demoes.
A buddy of mine just saved $$$$ on a Exmark Lazer Z with only 20 hours on it.
Full warranty and financing incentives applied. :D

Yeah Justin,
It sounds like you may be getting the shaft on this one dude. Bring the damn thing back. I have purchased some great machines brand new for a lot less than that. Yes, you need a Z. You've been talking about it for years & I am glad to see you making that step but not at that cost. That's just insane.

He ordered the machine so it should be in tomrororw or Tuesday. I went to Husqvarna because it's the only close dealer I got. He's like 5 minutes from my house and i've already bought lots of stuff from them too. Next option, is John Deere, 45 minutes away from here.

What kind of deal will they give you for a purchase with payments (not a lease)? Like I said before, you could buy an expensive mower (Dixie Chopper) for that price. I agree, you need a ZTR, but not at that price. That will greatly affect your bottom line.

I'm gonna double check what price they got for me, I gave them an approximate price of $10,000, maybe that's why my lease goes up to almost 11,000$. The original price on the machine is about $8500

I will have more info for you guys tomorrow, see what's going on

But even after 3 yrs, they should be able to give it to me, i payed full price (according to the lease)

Well my 3 hr tractor job is now a 2 hr commercial mower job.

The only thing I don't get, it says that my commercial mower can do 3.8 acres/hr and it doesn't seem to reach that at all. I am not sure if it's only me or what but yeah. It looks a bit off. It also says 12 hrs of mowing on a tank (i got 2 separate tanks) and I wasn't able to do 12 hrs on both of them yet.

How come on your site they are 179 and on prolockers.com they are 129 ?

That is a real good question.... Let me just tell you I would be loosing money if I were to sell them for $129. Unfortunately this is a typical deal where the ,manufacturer want to sell products direct for close to the same price they sell them to dealers for, despite the fact that dealers are who build their brand, not their direct sales . This is frustrating but I suppose all I can do is direct people to prolockers.com and let them buy 'em themselves. I am glad you found the website since I had not been able to find a website for them despite repeated searches... Good example of a website that is easily found by search...

Good luck,
Eli

SuperiorPower

What's is your view on the machine after the 40+ hours?

I really like my productivity increased from a regular tractor

When the grass is wet it sticks to the deck.

I also have 2 sets of blades and they don't take long before they get dull 2-3 days then I have to swap my other sharpened set. Is this normal ??

Are these normal for a ZTR
